Five times distilled, this super premium gin is made in a small distillery on a pier overlooking San Francisco Harbour.

The original distillery was found as a derelict building at the back of the Edge Hill Wine Estate. It was quickly discovered that the distillery used to produce world class spirits in the 1880s and was the 209th registered distillery in the US. Over a century later, Leslie Rudd was inspired to build a distillery and create a new No.209 Gin.

Nose of toffee and caramel with hints of spice.  Taste is sweet and full with a hint of citrus, spice and subtle wine notes. The finish is long, sweet and spice-filled with cassia, clove, ginger and black pepper. At the very end there’s notes of  chocolate and oak.

Sauvignon Blanc

Tasting notes:

Floral notes with hints of toasted grain and subtle spice on a background of juniper and citrus. Initial taste is sweet with a bit of citrus and a pleasant tang from the wine barrel aging. Finish is long and round with cardamom, chocolate and cassia notes.

Chardonnay

Aged for approximately 4 months in used Edge Hill Estate Chardonnay barrels.
